Why proof of access matters.
A locksmith should confirm that the requester is allowed to enter or approve work on the property or passenger vehicle.
What to prepare
- Government-issued identification
- Proof of occupancy, ownership, tenancy, or management authority
- Vehicle registration or other ownership evidence for passenger-vehicle entry
- Building, landlord, or property-management contact when required
If documents are inside
Explain the situation by phone. The technician must still follow a safe verification process before service is authorized.
